Shopping City Timișoara

Shopping City Timișoara is the city’s second mall, located in Calea Șagului at the site of the former Dermatina Factory which was founded in 1934. The factory produced support polishing materials and artificial leather, and was one of the many famous industrial brands of the city, eventually shutting down in 2007.

The land was cleared a few years ago, followed by the November inauguration of the Shopping City commercial center, including an area of 70.000 square metres and 110 shops and related services. The center contains the largest multiplex cinema outside of Bucharest, with 13 available screening rooms.
